Sakura Kimono Kyoto, a kimono rental shop, offers a selection of over 400 kimonos, from children's sizes to high-quality furisode. Our staff assists in choosing kimonos and accessories that best suit you, guiding you through the entire rental process and kimono experience.

Women's hair setting is included. Make-up is not included.

For kimono rentals, we do not charge a NoShow penalty or cancellation fee, but please be sure to contact us. (The snap shooting plan requires a deposit. Please note that in case of unilateral cancellation, the deposit will not be refunded.)
Return time

Please return it within business hours on the same day, regardless of rental time. Additional fees will apply if returned outside of business hours.

Out-of-hours service fee

If you wish to rent or return a kimono outside business hours, it is possible to do so for 1,000 yen per person per hour.

The overnight rental plan is only available for summer yukata, and it costs an additional 2,000 yen per person. When renting, ID verification and a deposit of 10,000 yen are required. Return time is until noon the next day. If you wish to return it after noon, you can extend the time for 1,000 yen per person per hour.

Kimono rental reservation
Select a kimono rental plan and make a reservation. Reservations can be made from 3 months in advance of the desired date of use. You can also rent a kimono without reservation. However, if you have decided on your travel itinerary, we recommend that you make a reservation before visiting.

A professional hairdresser will make you look beautiful from head to toe.

Sightseeing and taking photos wearing a kimono
Leave the store and enjoy sightseeing, such as Nara Park, Todai-ji, and Osaka Castle, and take many pretty photos. It will become a unique memory in Nara, Japan.
