Access Guide to Sakura Kimono Kyoto
Sakura Kimono Kyoto, a kimono rental shop in front of Nara Station, is located in a convenient spot reachable from Osaka Dotonbori within an hour without transfers, making it easy to visit not only for those traveling to Nara, but also for those visiting Osaka or Kyoto.
Directions from Kintetsu Nara Station
- Exit from “Kintetsu Nara Station Exit 3“.
- Immediately upon exiting, you will see “HIGASHIMUKI SHOPPING STREET“.
- After passing through Higashimuki Shopping Street, you will see “Nanto Bank (南都銀行)“.
- It is on the 2nd floor of Tokiwa Building, opposite “Nanto Bank”. (“Nakatani-do (中谷堂)” will be on your left)
(Please turn right after exiting the Higashimuki Shopping Street. If you turn left, you may arrive at a different kimono rental shop. Please make sure to come to the correct location.)
Directions from JR Nara Station
- Exit from JR Nara Station East Exit.
- Go straight into Sanjo Street.
- Walk straight, pass Konishi Sakura-dori Shopping Street, and continue a little further.
- We are located on the 2nd floor of Tokiwa Building, across from the former “Nanto Bank Head Office” (just before the Higashimuki Shopping Street).
- Look for the sign with Sakurako-chan in a kimono!

- By JR: Kansai Airport Station (JR Kansai Airport Express or Limited Express Haruka) → Transfer at Tennoji Station (JR Yamatoji Rapid) → Get off at JR Nara Station (approx. 1 hour 25 minutes ~ 1 hour 40 minutes)
